Application Processing

Application process for individual domain name .name.my and .my category (individual)

  1. The modification requests below may only be done by the Registrant/Administrative Contact:

    • Change of Password.

    • Appoint a new Billing Contact

    • Appoint a new Technical Contact

    • Appoint a new Invoicing Party

    • Modify the Registrant/Administrative Contact record. Items that can be modified are address, phone no., fax no. and e-mail address.

    • Modify Forwarding e-mail (for .name.my only)

    • Non-automatic Updating

    • Modify Registrant/Administrative Contact. An application to modify spelling of the name and supporting document is required (copy of IC/Passport/Visa/Driving License).

  2. Registrant/Administrative Contact can appoint an individual or an organisation to be the Technical Contact.

    The modification requests below may only be done by the Technical Contact (Organisation/Individual):

    • Change of Password

    • Modify Technical Contact record (Organisation). This request is to change details of the current Technical Contact such as first & last names, address, phone no. and e-mail address,

    • Modify Technical Contact record (Individual). This request is to change the address, phone no., fax no. and e-mail address,

    • Change the primary/secondary name server. This request is to replace the registered primary/secondary name server with a new one, and/or

    • Add a secondary name server, and/or

    • Remove a secondary server.

    • Non-automatic Updating

    • Modify Technical Contact Record (Individual). An application to modify spelling of the name and supporting document is required (copy of IC/Passport/Visa/Driving License)

    • Modify the primary/secondary name server IP address. This request is to change the IP address of registered primary/secondary name server.

  3. Registrant/Administrative Contact can appoint an individual or an organisation to be the Billing Contact.

    The modification requests below may only be done by the Billing Contact (Organisation/Individual):

    • Change of Password

    • Modify Billing Contact record (Organisation). This request is to change details of the current Billing Contact such as first & last names, address, phone no. and e-mail address,

    • Modify Technical Contact record (Individual). This request is to change the address, phone no., fax no. and e-mail address,

    • Appoint a new Invoicing Party

    • Non-automatic Updating

    • Modify Billing Contact Record (Individual). An application to modify spelling of the name and supporting document is required (copy of IC/Passport/Visa/Driving License)
