1.0 Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME)
1.1. BIZ.my registration under PRIME is open for Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME). MSME include the category of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as defined by SME Corp Malaysia which is available by clicking HERE.
Micro
Microenterprises across all sectors: Sales turnover of less than RM300,000 OR less than 5 full-time employees.
Small
Manufacturing: Sales turnover from RM300,000 to less than RM15 million OR full-time employees from 5 to less than 75.
Services and Other Sectors: Sales turnover from RM300,000 to less than RM3 million OR full-time employees from 5 to less than 30.
Medium
Manufacturing: Sales turnover from RM15 million to not exceeding RM50 million OR full-time employees from 75 to not exceeding 200.
Services & Other Sectors: Sales turnover from RM3 million to not exceeding RM20 million OR full-time employees from 30 to not exceeding 75.
1.2 This excludes entities that are public-listed on the main board, and subsidiaries of publicly-listed companies on the main board, multinational corporations (MNCs), government-linked companies (GLCs), Syarikat Menteri Kewangan Diperbadankan (MKDs), and state-owned enterprises.
1.3 Each MSME is eligible to apply for 1 free biz.my for one-year throughout the promotion period of PRIME for biz.my.
2.0 Registration Criteria for BIZ.MY
BIZ.my is open for business organisations/activities, the registration guidelines of which are as follows:
2.1 Every third level registration will be considered a new registration.
2.2 Each registrant must enter into an agreement with MYNIC in respect to the third level's registered and abide by the terms and conditions set by MYNIC.
2.3 Registrants must not infringe upon any registered trademark in registering third level names.
2.4 A third level chosen must not be identical or confusingly similar to either a registered trademark, business, or company name in Malaysia.
2.5 A third level chosen must not infringe the rights of any third parties in relation to any applicable treaties or agreements.
2.6 Mapping services offered by MYNIC such as GO2 brand, will not be available should you change the name server to other third-party hosting providers.
2.7 In the event any transfer is initiated by the registrant, MYNIC’s policies and procedures will continue to apply.
2.8 The existing applicable criteria for BIZ.my will continue to apply.
3.0 Prohibitions
3.1 The current prohibitions in the terms and conditions of BIZ.MY will continue to apply.
4.0 .BIZ.MY third level applications and registrations by MYNIC and Registrars
4.1 All applications made during the PRIME Launch will be handled by MYNIC and its appointed Registrars. The Registrar may bundle the registration service with their other products and/or services. For list of MYNIC Registrars, please visit HERE.
4.2 MYNIC reserves the right to revoke the domain name at any time should MYNIC find any information supplied in your application to be incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate or should MYNIC find that the third level BIZ.MY name infringes MYNIC's policies and terms and conditions.
4.3 MYNIC may share the collected data from the registration of the third level BIZ.MY with any other third party in compliance with MYNIC’s Privacy Policy HERE.
4.4 If there are any disputes with regards to the third level biz.my registered by MYNIC, the issue will be handled in accordance with the MYNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. This service is run by the Asian International Arbitration Centre. The registrant can also have the choice of negotiating with the related parties, litigating the matter in court or through mediation or arbitration.
4.5 MYNIC reserves the right to amend and supplement these terms and conditions of from time to time, without any further notice to you.
