Frequently Asked Questions - OKU Benefits
The OKU Benefits is a special program offered by MYNIC to eligible individuals with disabilities (OKU) for the registration or renewal of .my (individual) domain names, subject to the OKU Benefits terms and conditions. Through this benefit, eligible OKU can claim 50% rebates, capped at RM60 per domain, per year.
This benefit is eligible for Malaysian citizen with disabilities who hold a valid OKU Identification Card issued by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and are required to submit a copy of their Malaysian National Registration Identity Card (IC) and OKU ID for the verification.
The rebate applies to .my (individual) domain name categories only.
I am a disabled person and the owner of a business entity. Can I apply this benefit for my business?
This benefit does not apply to a business entity or organization. As for now, only an individual with valid OKU ID will enjoy the benefit for .my domain registration.
Yes, you may claim the rebate for a new registration or renewal for an existing domain from 22 January 2026 onwards, provided the registration or renewal is completed through any MYNIC Accredited Registrars.
The rebate is 50% of the registrar’s retail price per registration or renewal transaction, capped at RM60, whichever lesser, subject to the following conditions:
Important Notes:
· Retail price refers to the domain name registration or renewal fee charged by the Registrar, excluding service tax (ST).
· The rebate is not applied automatically and must be claimed.
· Rebates cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
· Premium domain names are not eligible for this rebate.

Each eligible registrant may claim rebates for up to five (5) .my domain names only.
Yes. The rebate applies to multi-year registrations and renewals and is calculated based on the total retail price paid for the transaction.

2. Download and complete the .MY OKU Rebate Claim Form here
3. Email the completed form to customercare@mynic.my together with the following supporting documents:
· Copy of Malaysian National Registration Identity Card
· Copy of OKU Identification Card issued by Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia
· Proof of payment (invoice or receipt)

Yes. All rebate claims must be submitted within one (1) year from the domain name registration or renewal date.
Rebate claims will be reviewed upon submission. Once approved, the rebate will be credited to the registrant’s bank account within 30 days.
No. Rebates will only be credited to a bank account under the name of the registrant. Claims requesting payment to third-party accounts or alternative payment channels (such as e-wallets) will not be accepted.
